One of the most powerful questions right now is our freedoms and rule of law that is being misused by the people who now sit in a position to govern. The idea of America as a “shining city on a hill” has been deeply woven into its identity—a beacon of hope, democracy, and opportunity. If those fundamental freedoms were to erode, it would mean a profound shift in society, affecting everything from political stability to individual rights.
I don’t believe that we are being invaded yet!
We are already seeing the loss of freedoms to speak, college students jailed for just being from another country, people sent to prisons in other countries because they have tattoos and the worse has yet to come. It might impact the economy, innovation, and global influence, altering how America engages with the world. Historically, nations that have moved away from democratic ideals have faced social unrest, weakened trust in institutions, and even conflicts over restoring lost rights.
Trump is still ignoring the Supreme Court ruling.
However, history also shows that when people recognize threats to their freedoms, movements emerge to protect and reclaim them. Americans have shown resilience in defending democracy—whether through civil rights efforts, free press, or advocacy for justice. The question becomes: how does a country respond when faced with such a challenge? They say, talk to your State representatives, Tom Cotton and John Boozman, who will ignore your concerns because they are bound to the people who donate to their campaigns. They are all bound to the one who dominates our White House.
When will it start in your state?
White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller said the Trump administration is actively considering suspending habeas corpus.
This country is leaning further towards what most people seen during World War I and II. If ya have a lot of time to browse and spend on Facebook or any other media, spend time to listen to this video about the person who is leading our country towards a country that no longer cares about the people of America or any other country. There are people who will destroy America.
What’s driving this concern for me? Are there specific freedoms I am most worried about?
Freedom of Speech, the Constitution, Education, Veterans Care, Foreign Aide, Farmers, Media that speaks the truth, the Homeless, Drug intervention, Healthcare for all, Decent Wages, Affordable Housing, anyone here in the United States has the rights to work and raise their families without fear. This country was built by immigrants and our government is destroying everything that made this country one of the greatest places to live, grow, worship and be proud.
Do we still live in America, the land of the Free and Brave?
