Another Day, Not Enough Java
How do you view the actions of the trump administration in Los Angeles, CA?
It all started out being very peaceful protest against the administrations ICE targeting all civilians in the LA area. Communities are literally being harmed and now the trump administration says, “Those people have been paid to riot.” No proof, just more false remarks to try and cover-up the harm that the LA police and National Guards have shown towards the Latino/Hispanic people in all the United States.
trump has turned into a tyrant and wants to show Americans that he does not care about anyone’s safety.
Who will he attack next?
Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary, has faced criticism for her statements regarding the military response and LAPD actions during the recent unrest in Los Angeles. In a heated press briefing, she defended the deployment of federal troops, calling the protests “shameful” and accusing left-wing radicals of attacking law enforcement.
However, some reports suggest that her claims misrepresented the situation. For example, she praised Trump’s decision to send active-duty Marines to assist in immigration enforcement, but did not clarify whether this was legally authorized. Additionally, she dismissed concerns about excessive police force, despite reports of over 600 non-lethal rounds fired and 50 arrests, including charges of attempted murder with a Molotov cocktail.
Critics argue that Leavitt’s statements downplayed the severity of the police response and framed protesters as criminals, rather than acknowledging concerns about civil liberties and excessive force. Some outlets have labeled her briefing as misinformation, pointing to past instances where she has defended controversial claims without providing evidence.
