Another Day, Not Enough Java
Our Souls Cry Out
This past week has shown so many of us the repercussion’s of the failure with in our government. We see immigrants and citizens being removed by people who only have hate in their hearts and believe that so many do not belong here. They promote fear mongering technique’s that were used back during World War I, World War II by dictators who had no empathy or respect for mankind. Your religion, your skin color, your sex, the origin of your country, your language, and your age would decide if you were to live or die. People were put to death and buried in mass graves. There seemed to be no shame and we are seeing a repeat of that time.
We are being abused and murdered by the people who are suppose to protect us from people who are criminals and do not believe in a democracy that has laws that punish those who do not abide by the local laws and the laws of the United States Constitution. We hear every day that government sycophants that are removing aid to foreign countries to relieve starvation. The government is removing important grants that serve to create cures for illnesses and diseases. Children are now going to school who may not have proper meals because they come from poorer families.
Families are losing medical insurance because they are no longer working or may not be putting enough hours in to qualify for insurance.
We have a Supreme Court that allows certain people to do what ever they please in bringing about the demise of our country and the countries that are our allies.
Someone said that, “The devil is always in the details.” Well, I have never seen so many demons with in our government and the people who support them.
If you live in a State that is governed by a Democrat, you will lose funding for everything. If you live in a State that voted for Harris, your capital will be over run by false ice agents, false FBI agents, national guard and local law enforcement personnel who will do what ever they are told in order to keep their jobs. They are no longer there to protect the citizens. They now belong to the dictator that has taken over our country.
Do you still feel safe?
We have seen these occurrence’s in other countries that are ruled by men of no honor.
At the age of seven, I relished in the knowledge that I was able to read the news papers and understand the changes occurring in our country towards freedom and prosperity for all who lived here. Our government created new laws that benefitted every one. I was absolutely thrilled to see our country in a way that gave everyone hope.
Now, I see a struggle within, that is more alarming than I could ever have imagined. Our Christian Faith and our beliefs in God’s Word is being destroyed by people who say they are Christians but their faith and actions do not bear witness to the teachings of Christ.
Jesus taught his disciples to live by faith, love, humility, and obedience—calling them to follow him, serve others, and proclaim the Kingdom of God. I don’t know about a lot of people but the Republicans are evidently not reading the same Bible. They are preaching hate and division.
I guess their well has run dry and their cup is empty.
Follow Me: Jesus began with a personal call—“Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). Discipleship meant leaving behind old lives to walk with him in purpose and transformation.
Faith Over Fear: He emphasized unshakable faith, saying even a mustard seed of belief could move mountains (Matthew 17:20). Faith was not just belief—it was trust in action.
Love as the Greatest Commandment: Jesus taught that love for God and neighbor was the foundation of all law (Matthew 22:37–39). He modeled radical love, even for enemies. Makes me wish I was 50 years younger so that we could go back to the Hippie Days.
Humility and Servanthood: “Whoever wants to be first must be slave of all” (Mark 10:44). Jesus washed his disciples’ feet to show that leadership begins with service.
Forgiveness and Mercy: He taught them to forgive “seventy times seven” times (Matthew 18:22), reflecting God’s boundless mercy.
Prayer and Dependence on God: Jesus often withdrew to pray and taught the Lord’s Prayer as a model of intimacy and trust in God (Luke 11:1–4).
Proclaim the Kingdom: He sent them out to heal, preach, and cast out demons (Matthew 10:1–15), showing that discipleship includes active ministry.
Take Up Your Cross: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24). This was a call to sacrificial living.
Prepare for Persecution: Jesus warned them of rejection and suffering, but promised the Spirit would guide and strengthen them (John 15:18–20).
Jesus exemplified humility through his actions, relationships, and ultimate sacrifice—choosing servanthood over status, obedience over power, and love over recognition.
Servant Leadership
Washing His Disciples’ Feet: In John 13, Jesus took on the role of the lowest servant, washing the feet of his disciples—a task typically reserved for the least in the household. He said, “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you” (John 13:15).
Choosing the Lowly Path: Though he was called “Teacher” and “Lord,” Jesus consistently chose to serve rather than be served. He taught that true greatness lies in serving others (Mark 10:43–45).
It breaks my heart that so many do not believe in Jesus and do not teach the Truth about the Son of God who was sent to save us through His blood and our remission of sins so that we could be reunited with Our Heavenly Father.
Gentle and Lowly in Heart
His Invitation to the Weary: In Matthew 11:29, Jesus said, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart.” His humility wasn’t just external—it was the posture of his soul.
Associating with the Marginalized: He spent time with tax collectors, sinners, the poor, and the sick—those society rejected. His humility made space for grace.
Childlike Simplicity
Valuing the Lowly: Jesus taught that “whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:4). He redefined greatness as childlike dependence and openness.
Teaching Through Parables
The Banquet Parable: In Luke 14, Jesus advised guests to take the lowest seat at a feast, so they might be honored later. He concluded, “For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted”.
✝️ Ultimate Humility: The Cross
Obedience unto Death: Jesus submitted to the Father’s will in Gethsemane, saying, “Not as I will, but as You will” (Matthew 26:39). He endured false accusations, mockery, and crucifixion without retaliation.
Philippians 2:8 captures this beautifully: “He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross.” His suffering was the deepest act of humility, done for the sake of others.
Donald Trump has publicly stated that he has not asked God for forgiveness, though he has also suggested he might in the future. His comments on repentance have been mixed and sometimes ambiguous.
In the 1960s, landmark legislation transformed American society by expanding civil rights, protecting voting access, and improving education and healthcare—benefiting people across racial, gender, and economic lines.
Civil Rights Act of 1964
Ended segregation in public places and banned employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. This law laid the foundation for equal access to jobs, education, and public services.
Voting Rights Act of 1965
Eliminated barriers like literacy tests and poll taxes that had suppressed Black voters, especially in the South. It empowered millions to participate in democracy and reshaped American politics.
Fair Housing Act of 1968
Prohibited discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing. It helped dismantle systemic segregation in neighborhoods and expanded access to housing for all Americans.
Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965
Provided federal funding to schools, especially in low-income areas, aiming to close the achievement gap and ensure every child had access to quality education.
Higher Education Act of 1965
Created financial aid programs like Pell Grants and federal student loans, making college more accessible to working-class and minority students.
Medicare and Medicaid (1965)
Established health insurance for seniors (Medicare) and low-income individuals (Medicaid). These programs drastically reduced poverty among the elderly and improved access to healthcare for millions.
These laws didn’t just benefit specific groups—they reshaped the national landscape by promoting fairness, expanding opportunity, and protecting basic rights. They also laid the groundwork for future reforms in disability rights, gender equality, and education access.
All these rights are now being removed by our republican party. All money for programs are being rescinded.
All the money that was allocated for these programs is now being used to build a damn golden party room. The oval office is a cringe benefit.
For many, hell is not just a doctrine—it’s a question of justice. Is there accountability beyond this life? Is there mercy? Is suffering redemptive or punitive?
If hell exists, perhaps it’s not just a place—but a reckoning with the harm we cause or endure. Or maybe it’s the absence of love, truth, and connection.
The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible describes hell as a place of eternal punishment, torment, and separation from God, reserved for those who reject Him and persist in sin.
A place of fire and torment:
“Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” – Mark 9:44
“And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” – Matthew 13:50
“And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…” – Luke 16:23
Everlasting punishment:
“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” – Matthew 25:46
“And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever…” – Revelation 14:11
Separation from God:
“Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord…” – 2 Thessalonians 1:9
Who Will Go to Hell According to the KJV
Those who reject Christ:
“He that believeth not is condemned already…” – John 3:18
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” – Revelation 20:15
Persistent sinners:
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars…” – Revelation 21:8
The devil and his followers:
“Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.” – Matthew 25:41
“And the devil… shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” – Revelation 20:10
While the Bible warns of hell’s reality, it also offers redemption:
“For God so loved the world… that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
“The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23
