Another Day, Not Enough Java
Diplomacy, Are we there yet?
Two heads of state express mutual praise, outline shared positions on Iran, trade, and Ukraine, and signal unity during a period of global instability.
Here we go again. So many are against this war that trump says,
”They were going to attack first.” Rubio just keeps repeating the same delusional irrelevant verbiage. I was very alarmed but not surprised at the facial expressions on trumps face when the German Chancellor spoke about the day out, trade agreement, and the end on the Ukraine war. We all seen that those things may or may not ever happen. We didn’t hear trump say yeah or nay on the Chancellors remarks.
Trump said so many things that seem to be his gaslighting on the American people once again.
Do we really have them beaten? Have we knocked out a lot of all their military capabilities? We do need a new government that works for the American people.
Almost all our government people have been fired. He keeps saying they are, “radical lunatics,
Trump said: “Our countries get along very well. We have a great affinity for each other.” and “They have no Navy… no Air Force… no air detection… their radar has been knocked out.”
REALLY?
He repeatedly compliments the visiting chancellor and the relationship between their countries. That was the first clue for the Chancellor to do likewise. Trump has the initiative under control.
Trump claims Iran’s military capabilities have been severely degraded (“no Navy… no Air Force…”).
REALLY?
He expects “very big trade deals” to succeed.
REALLY?
Trump highlights the honor of hosting the chancellor in the Oval Office.
That was the second clue for the Chancellor to do likewise. Trump has the initiative under control.
The Chancellor focuses on shared policy alignment, urgency on trade, and the need for a just end to the war in Ukraine.
Cited lines include: “We are the same page in terms of regime in Tehran.” and “Ukraine has to preserve its territory and their security interests.”
Did you see the look on Trumps face?
The Chancellor stressed the unity on how to handle the Tehran regime.
Planning for “the day after”: The Chancellor wants to discuss what happens if the regime falls or is removed.
What’s supposed to happen the DAY AFTER?
The Chancellor seems very urgent their trade deal being finalized “as soon as possible.”
The Chancellor better get that in writing and have it finalized in agreement with the Republican Party before they go on another Teeny-weeny vacation at the tax payers dollar.
The Chancellor condemned “too many bad guys in this world” and insists Ukraine must maintain its territory and security.
Did you see the look on Trumps face?
Was this a stab in the wounded ego of Trump?
The rest of the White House meeting was really the same old, same old salad fight.
Trump lashed out at a reporter and I decided that I had already let my coffee get cold.
Not too happy about that.
But tomorrow will be Another Day and hopefully enough coffee.
